Renting a server, without the guesswork

Community servers are partner-hosted only — no public server files, no SteamCMD self-hosting. Six companies are on the official partner list, and rentals are open now — re-checked live on Aug 19.

The two partners we've priced sell different things, so the headline numbers aren't comparable. Low.ms charges per slot, the model most HLL admins know — you pick 64, 82 or 100 and pay for the size. Qonzer sells a fixed block of dedicated hardware with no slot cap at all, so the higher monthly buys unlimited slots and bare-metal resources rather than a bigger player count on shared kit. If you want the cheapest way onto the browser, that's slot pricing; if you're chasing tick-rate stability in 100-player fights, the dedicated-resource model is the one to price out. Qonzer's own order page currently warns of "extremely high demand" with roughly 30-minute deployment and possible provisioning in the nearest available datacentre rather than the one you pick — worth knowing if your clan needs a specific region on day one.

What server owners can configure

Platform access — full crossplay, PC-only, or console-only (official Dev Q&A). Your community's input-fairness policy is a rental-time decision; servers are labelled accordingly in the browser. (How crossplay works →)
Admin tooling — the original game has a documented RCON protocol; for Vietnam the devs have hinted at expanded admin tools but published nothing yet. We update this section when partners expose the real panel.
Mods — realistically no: UE5 + kernel-level EAC + partner-only hosting leaves no modding surface at launch.

You don't have to rent anything to play — official and partner community servers have been plentiful since launch. Rent when your clan needs its own rules, map rotation or region.

Low.ms: order flow is live (product configurator, not a pre-order form), $32.35/mo at 64 slots and the 64/82/100 tiers unchanged from the pre-launch figure. Qonzer: HLLV page now carries real pricing at £49.95/mo for a dedicated-resource package (8 threads / 32 GB / 200 GB NVMe / Windows Server 2022, no slot limit) plus a live "extremely high demand, ~30-minute deployment, may provision in nearest available location" order notice. Official partner list re-checked the same round on hellletloose.com/server-rentals — still the same 6 names. G-Portal, GTXGaming, Streamline and Nitrado were not priced this round and are labelled as such rather than guessed.
