Is the Deluxe Edition worth it?
Short answer: only if you want the skins. The $20 difference is purely cosmetic โ no maps, no weapons, no early access, no gameplay content. Two of the three Deluxe packs don't even arrive until later in 2026.

Verdict by player type
- Just want to play at launch: Standard. Every map, weapon and mode is identical.
- Collector / faction-skin enjoyer: Deluxe is $20 for four uniform packs across the year โ fine if that's your thing, but note two packs are IOUs (Q3/Q4 2026).
- On the fence: buy Standard now (keeps the pre-order skin), upgrade later โ the Field Supplies will sell separately as DLC.
Skins are tied to the store you buy on โ they do not cross platforms.
